This is the very foundation of agility. Functional requirements will inevitably evolve during a project, mainly because agile methods make it possible to test a product throughout its creation process. Every unexpected event and every new idea must be handled like any other feature: GraphicStream analyses it, estimates it, prioritises it and provides you with a reasoned response.
When the development cycle is divided into sprints, each sprint must result in the delivery of one or more working features. Sprint length must be consistent with the number of features to be completed. When the scope is larger, we propose a different breakdown.
This is the most important principle of agile methods. It may sound obvious, but it is not always applied in practice. To know whether the customer is satisfied, they must be involved in the development process. After all, a two-year waterfall project also aims to satisfy the customer, even when that customer is only slightly involved, or not involved at all.
Communication is the foundation of our working method. Our customers can follow our ongoing work and actions, while we remain attentive to their expressed needs. Team building is encouraged and highly valued.
We believe that the development team must be motivated to make the project succeed. Team members must be able to express their views on the effort required for each task and on the constraints they face. At the end of every development cycle, they must proactively suggest actions that can improve the team’s performance.
